Beija-flor (hummingbird) is a brand of hand-made notebooks created by Raquel and Su. Both are
designers who dedicate their free-time to this lovely project. They design and
produce the notebooks and sometimes they invite illustrators to spice things up
a bit. (Below you can watch a short video illustrating the process.)
Basically, there are two collections: Azulejos de bolso (which means pocket tiles) and Ilustrações de bolso (which means pocket
illustrations). The first one is all about colourful patterns since it is inspired
by the typical Portuguese tiles, while the second one is where they have their
friends to illustrate the notebooks.
The notebooks come in different formats (A5, A6, A7) and the price is usually
between 2€ and 4€.
