Street Art: DRAW

FredericoSoares Campos - DRAW (Porto, Portugal, 1988). Currentlyenrolled in the Master in Architecture at Oporto’s School of Architecture(FAUP), Frederico started developing, since 2006, a very keen interest inPhotography and Architecture. His academic and professional backgrounds andexperinences have always been divided between these two forms of artisticexpression. In 2007, he started a fruitful collaboration with the CCRE (Centrefor Spatial Communication and Representation) and has been since involved inseveral projects connected to the world of photography as a mean of artisticand spatial communication. By 2008, he was integrated in the BII project, anacademic scholarship granted by the CEAU (Centre for Architecture and UrbanismStudies) and in 2008-2009 he was one of the members of the LIDERA Project,sponsored by the University of Oporto, in cooperation with the “Laboratório deImagem” (Image Lab), a project focused on Photography and Imaging studies. Heis, since 2010, the Contest Director for SCOPIO MAGAZINE, a role to which headded the one of Assistant for the Communication, Photography and Multimedia(CFM) course at FAUP during the school years of 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Apartfor his deep involvement with Architecture and Photography, Frederico alwaysnurtured a special love for Street Art and Graffiti, a form of expression withwhich he has been involved since 2001 and where the strong influence thePlastic Arts have on him is clearly identifiable.

DRAW has been focusing is work on portraits since he is completely passionate about capturing facial expressions.
