Johnny Marr and his unmistakable guitar are back and now accompanied by his own voice. Although, as said here before, The Messenger will be out only in 2013, the video for its homonymous track was released today.

If the Mayan Calendar is not correct we will have the opportunity to listen to Johnny Marr’s solo debut! People have been talking about a The Smiths reunion. However, Johnny Marr is focused on his album The Messenger. It will be released on the 25th February by Warner Bros. Recorded between Berlin and Manchester and mastered in the legendary Abbey Road Studios, the 12 track album reflects Johnny Marr’s experience while living in the German capital.
