Não sei desenhar barcos, Filho da Mãe

Filho da Mãe is electricity running through an acoustic guitar and that comes with no surprise since Rui Carvalho, the man behind the artist, has played in bands like If Lucy Fell, a post-hardcore Portuguese band.
Não sei desenhar barcos is the opening title of his debut album Palácio.
Great performance and great video shot at my hometown.

Candyrat: Trevor Gordon Hall performing Kalimbatar

Let’s go back to Candyrat Records!
Trevor Gordon Hall named this composition Kalimbatar. What the heck is a kalimbatar? Easy! Kalimba+guitar. And he plays both instruments at the same time. Or is it just one instrument? Nevermind, it’s just good music.

Candyrat: Stefano Barone's Altalenanze

Candyrat is a record label like no other!
It is truly independent and has brought us artists like Andy Mckee, Antoine Dufour, Don Ross, etc… I first heard of them when Andy Mckee’s Drifting video went viral (over 45 million views!). Immediately I knew there was something special about him and “his” label which is the home of a collective of groundbreaking artists especially when it comes to solo acoustic guitarists.
Stay with Stefano Barone’s performance of Altalenanze:
